Afternoon Escape with Ringo
An early gym workout was followed by a morning rainstorm today. The rain brought a relaxing vibe and some welcome cooler temperatures after weeks of unbearably hot and humid weather.
Today’s cooler weather presented the perfect opportunity for an afternoon escape with Ringo and the threat of more rain meant we had Willow Metropark to ourselves.
Ringo is the perfect companion on such occasions as he’s always up for an adventure, no matter how small. We had a relaxing walk in the empty park and then made some time for a quick photo shoot before heading back home.
I never tire of taking Ringo’s signature shot with his head peeking out the back window of my 2007 FJ Cruiser. Today’s photos feel just as fresh as the first time.
