On the Run Again
I’ve been making a slow and cautious return to running since late July, following a series of setbacks that began earlier this year. Today I feel like I’m finally getting my running mojo back, and I’m enjoying the boost to my mindset and vibration.
I’d rather run than do just about anything, and this drive can easily spiral into overuse injuries. I’m taking it slow in hopes of avoiding injury this time around, reining in my desire to go faster, further and more frequently.
It’s tough to make a running comeback in the thick of summer with high temperatures and humidity weighing me down. But I’m just happy to be on the run again and excited to begin another running journey.
