Rocky Advances

Alongside all of the disruption with my surgery and Moose’s surgery, the Rockstar has been hard at work in training. Back in May, which seems like a lifetime ago, I enrolled Rocky in a training class with our beloved dog trainer who has trained Moose since he was a puppy.

I signed Rocky up for the intermediate level, but he quickly impressed our trainer during the initial evaluation, and she promoted him from intermediate to advanced training on his first day of class. So, he’s been crushing it since Day One. I call him “Rockstar” for a reason.

He graduated from his advanced training class yesterday and I am so proud of him. I’m not sure where I’ll take his training next, especially with everything else going on around here, but I do know this - the important thing with training, whether dog training or strength training, is just to keep at it and keep leveling up. And that’s what we’re going to do.
